Terms and Conditions
If you become a subscriber to a Red Flag Press publication, including Red Flag or the Marxist Left Review (MLR), these terms apply to your subscription. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.
- Contact us
- If you subscribed to a Red Flag Press publication on this website, you can manage your subscription in the subscriber portal. If you did not subscribe via this website, you can manage your subscription via our Stripe subscriber portal. Some subscribers who purchased their subscriptions offline may not have access to a subscriber portal.
- Subscribers can contact our subscription support team directly at [email protected] with any subscription-related requests or queries.
- Billing
- We will charge your payment method at the beginning of your subscription or, if applicable, at the end of your free trial period. Billing will continue according to the cycle stated at the time of purchasing unless the subscriber or Red Flag Press changes the subscription type according to the conditions set out in these terms.
- All subscriptions purchased online renew automatically per the subscription type selected unless cancelled per the cancellation terms in section 4. When we renew your subscription, we will use the payment method currently associated with your subscription, which you can manage via our customer portal.
- Receiving and managing your subscription
- When you purchase a subscription to a publication, you are entitled to all digital and/or print editions of that publication released during your subscription period, according to your subscription type.
- The subscriber is responsible for ensuring that the address and email associated with their subscription are accurate and up-to-date. The subscriber may update these details via the subscriber portal or by contacting our support team.
- The subscriber is responsible for notifying Red Flag Press within 30 days if they do not receive an edition of a publication to which they are entitled. Subscribers who have not received an edition may contact our support team to arrange redelivery. If you notify Red Flag Press of a missed edition and it is not possible for us to arrange a redelivery (for example, if the edition is no longer available), Red Flag Press may credit your account or extend your subscription period by the number of editions instead.
- Digital editions of publications are made available to subscribers via email. You may not receive digital editions if you opt out of digital edition emails. Red Flag Press is not liable for any products not received due to an email opt-out request made by the subscriber or due to typos. The subscriber can reactivate these emails by contacting our support team.
- Red Flag Press will ensure that digital editions are available for download for at least 14 days after being circulated to subscribers. Download links for digital editions may expire after these 14 days. We suggest subscribers download digital editions within 14 days of receiving the digital download link to ensure access to the digital edition. Where a subscriber is entitled to a digital edition, and the download link has expired, the subscriber can contact our support team within twelve months of the publication date to receive access to that digital edition.
- Where print editions are undeliverable and are returned to Red Flag Press by Australia Post, we will inform the subscriber via email. The subscriber will have 14 days to respond, after which Red Flag Press may change your subscription type to one of our digital options while we resolve the issue. We will let you know if we change your subscription type due to delivery issues. If we change your subscription type, you must contact us to revert the subscription to the original type.
- Cancellations and refunds
- The subscriber can cancel their subscriptions anytime via the subscriber portal or through our support team.
- Should you cancel your subscription, you will no longer receive editions of the publication unless you contact Red Flag Press to request the remaining issues for the subscription period that you have paid. You may contact us directly to request that Red Flag Press delete your payment method to prevent the auto-renewal of your subscription without cancelling.
- You are entitled to a full refund of a renewal fee if you contact us to request a subscription cancellation, and we cannot action your request before your renewal fee is processed. Red Flag Press may also issue a full refund if you request a subscription cancellation within 14 days of renewal.
- Red Flag Press reserves the right to cancel a subscription at any time. Full or prorated refunds will be at the discretion of Red Flag Press.
